Hello My Grade 4 Students,

Welcome to my blog. This blog is made for you and your parents. Every time we learn something in the class, I want you to explore it further to broaden your knowledge outside the class. I also want you to enjoy your exploration. In my blog, you will find a variety of learning materials- videos, tutorials, exercises- to practice and games to play with. So, get ready to learn and have some fun! It is raining outside, and the day looks very gloomy. Food Chain

Today, we have talked about the food chain in our science class. You know by now that every living thing in the world is part of a continuous food chain. The sun is a major part of this chain, since it is needed for all food chains to begin. For every habitat on Earth, such as the ocean and the land, there is a different food chain. Humans are a big part of many food chains as well. I have found video on how Krill is important to the food chain and to our environment; watch the video.

Number Sense

As the school year is ending, we will do some review on number sense in our math class. We will also do some numeration that you somewhat learned at the beginning of the year. You will learn division in the number sense. Mother’s Day

Hello class, Mother’s day is coming up. It is on the second Sunday of the month of May. Mother’s day is celebrated across the world to show respect, and to express gratitude and love to all the mothers. This is for the struggles they go through to give birth to their children and to raise them. I have found a good crafts and activities site to explore your creativity while making a beautiful present for your mother. I am sure your mother will be happier to get some handmade presents made by you than getting something that is bought from the store.

But because of the damaging activities of the human being, the habitats of many of these species are endangered and being wiped out. Most of these species only live in a certain area of the world. After their very own habitat is gone, they will never to be seen again. Human Impact on Habitats and Communities

Humans are making impacts on animal habitats both in helpful and damaging ways. Some destroy their homes and others rebuild it. Some take the animals away from their habitats and others make sure this does not happen. This proves that the world also have a lot of kind people who care about not only themselves but others around them and other living things. Together they can work on to make sure to end the injustice done on the animals. Are you one of those people?

Dear my fabulous students, I am very proud of you that you all worked hard and were able to successfully complete our learning on geometry and spatial sense. All of you have done very well.
